Raising Your CQ - the consciousness quotient. It is NOT how smart you are, or how much you know; it is a matter of how aware you are now!
This book explains what is wrong with the brain. I describe how our brain distorts reality, so that you can avoid the common problems we face and find ways to actualize your potentials.
Consciousness is magical: this is not an attempt to explain what it is, rather I present you with the tools to make it work better for you. Do you know the laws of consciousness? If you violate them, you are penalized, but if you follow them, you are rewarded.
The First Paragraph:
The keys to our prosperity, health and happiness are not reserved for special people, they are available to all who simply seek them. Do you know where to look? Some keys are fairly obvious, others remain hidden. Unless you discover all the right keys, you cannot enjoy the good life with plenty of success instead, your life remains locked in an unpleasant struggle, filled with stress, frustration and misery. Part of the problem is that our effort is usually focused externally on confronting the difficulties life throws at us. It does not matter how hard we try, we never seem to reach the success we wish for. That is because our true progress depends on the hidden keys inside of the mind and body. Unless you shift your focus to deal with the internal problems we all experience, you will be missing important keys. I am proposing that success requires you to understand how the mind works and more importantly how it fails to work correctly. If you learn how and why we make common mistakes you will be able to avoid many of them and improve your chances of reaching your true potentials.
What is CQ?
A century ago, the IQ score began to measure what is believed to be intelligence. More recently, the EQ was developed to measure emotional intelligence. Beyond these two measures, I propose a radical idea, it is not how smart you are, how emotionally clever, or even how much you know, rather it is matter of what you are aware of now! This makes our awareness the ultimate measure of our success or failure. The more you are aware of, the higher is your CQ! The secret of raising your CQ is based on the simple process of increasing your awareness of the keys that unlock your problems and help you achieve your goals. A CQ genius is any individual who can prevent problems or at least quickly and easily resolve them, and continues to actualize all their potentials, because he or she are more aware of the here and now.

There are three major agencies in the mind that give us power or can also limit us.
The Power of Perception: observing the world with all your senses and skills
The Power of Judgment: analyzing, comparing, rational, logical thinking, and
making decisions, choosing or selecting the best path.
Will Power: mindfulness, developing a plan, visualizing goals, initiating intent and utilizing your motivation, passion, and energy.
There are Five Institutes that enable us to effectively deal with the world around us IF we have the keys to use these skills.
Memory - storage - recall
Imagination - abstract imagery, thinking, ideas
Passion - the emotional and physical energy, motivation, excitement
Curiosity - questioning, interest
Creativity - exploring, new ideas, taking risks, contributing, inventing, building
*Humor - joking, poking fun at life, being funny, laughing, clowning, irony...
*Nurturance - taking care of, feeding, helping, volunteering, repairing, kindness
*Artistic - all forms of artistry - music, painting, dancing, writing, film, drama, etc...
*Science - analysis and solutions for technology
*Economic - developing multiple streams of income and resources...
